Yesterday, we travelled 300kms north west of Oslo to a small town that's the "staging point" to explore the fjords around Bergen.
Wood is the traditional building material - most commonly painted "Norwegian brown" and built on a stone base - many have green roofs.
The Borgund Stave Church was built in 1130 and mixes Viking and Christian design.
Something new in a traditional setting!
And a few views along the way......mountains, rivers are very rugged in places!
